La Flèche Wallonne is a one day classic race that takes place in Wallonia; a region of Belgium. First raced in 1936, it is famous for the ascent of the Mur de Huy which the riders climb multiple times on their way to the finish at its summit. A women’s edition of the race has been held on the same day since 1998.
