AMSTEL GOLD RACE

Amstel Gold Race is a one day classic race held in the Limburg province of the Netherlands. Started in 1966, it traditionally marks the turning point in the Spring classics season from the cobbled classics to the Ardennes classics. A women's race, Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition was started in 2001, taking a hiatus between 2003 and 2017 since which it has been run anually.
